fantastic question!

so to make amazing iced tea, you can do one of two things :

1) you can brew your tea hot as usual, and put it in the fridge to cool. if you add ice, it will get really dilluted, so… option 2…

2) you can double the amount of tea you would usually use, to concentrate it, and then strain it over ice. you would also double the amount of sugar/honey/etc. you usually use, if you use it.

before i started using loose leaf i would buy fruity teas like blueberry celestial seasonings or something, and use a gallon [i think?] size glass mason jar type of thing, and about 6 blueberry tea bags or so, and would tie up all the strings together and tuck them under the outer metal mason jar ring and then pour the boiling water over them, let them steep for a good ten minutes or so, and take them out and put the center mason jar lid piece back inside the outer ring and put it in the fridge for a few hours.

and if you want to get really creative, you can even add fresh squeezed lemon juice to that, plus some lemon wedges, frozen blueberries - instead of or in addition to ice - or blueberries frozen in ice cubes - and some vodka for TEA-TINIS! muddle some fresh mint too, in the summer time, for a super refreshing party treat!
